I literally spent six hours looking for African women on my dad’s collection of Newsweek, cutting them out, and pasting them onto the cover. I felt like Tyra Banks deciding which model to pick for the front of Vogue Afrika or something. If that even exists.

Anyway, here’s to another year of bullshit.
