So at around 6 in the evening I decided to go back here in Los Baños since we have this “Fun” Run we’re required to participate in tomorrow. Honestly though, I don’t see anything fun about waking up at 5 in the goddamn morning.
Alice, a friend of mine, happened to be in the same jeep I was riding on so the trip didn’t turn out to be as boring as I expected it to be. I mean, we didn’t talk that much, but I got to see the reaction of the stranger after Alice unknowingly fell asleep and spread all those saliva on his lap.
The first stop was on SM Calamba so we dropped by the bookstore and I bought a few books (will blog about them later). It was around 7:30 that time and we then looked for a place to eat. Everywhere was full of people so our last resort was Pizza Hut. Two words: Never. Again.
We didn’t want to spend too much money on food, so forking over four hundred pesos on two 6-inch pizzas made us go crey crey. We were so poor that we even left the restaurant first and went back after buying cans of soda from the supermarket. Because really, who would pay 50 pesos for a fucking glass of Pepsi?
Obviously, we were unsatisfied with what we ate and I blame Alice on everything. When we were eating she was all like, “We’re eating with forks and knives. WHY AREN’T WE EATING LIKE REAL MEN?” And I said, “Bitch, REAL MEN EAT BIGGER PIZZAS, GODDAMMIT.”
It’s times like these that make me realize that I do love my parents. Pizza’s never the same without you, mom and dad. (My wallet agrees with this statement.)
